The X-Trail is expected to be the first to launch in India by September, just before the festive season. The X-Trail will be expensive as it will arrive in India via the CBU route, but it will have a hybrid powertrain to keep running costs low. It will offer the company’s e-Power hybrid technology and will be available in both FWD and AWD versions. The X-Trail’s hybrid powertrain will offer two options: a 163PS, 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.5L turbo petrol with strong hybrid tech, providing 204PS and 300Nm of torque in a 2WD setup and 213PS & up to 525Nm in a 4WD setup.
