Monica, O My Darling Release Set for November, Netflix Reveals
If you enjoy crime dramas and thrillers, rejoice: the first trailers for two upcoming films about riveting subjects have just been released! Both Netflix films feature Rajkummar Rao in Monica O My Darling and Tabu in Khufiya. Monica, O My Darling will be released in November.

Monica O My Darling teaser opens with Rajkummar Rao’s character telling Akansha Ranjan’s Nikki in Hindi, “I have to tell you something. I have grown up in a very small town. You would not have even heard of its name, Angola.” To which she replies, “Angola? Sounds exotic.” Next, Huma Qureshi is seen greeting a ‘Mr Jayant’. She then offers refreshments to Rajkummar; when he refuses, she says, “It is just tea, not poison.”
While Huma oozes boss lady vibes in the teaser video, Radhika Apte is seen in an opposite avatar, teaching Rajkummar the ropes of ‘narrating a story with a Mumbai accent. Sikander Kher appears in the teaser as well, hurling insults at Rajkummar’s ‘Prince of Angola.’
In one of the teaser’s most dramatic scenes, Huma is seen destroying a tiger statue on a table next to her with a sharp knife while Rajkummar’s character appears to be fleeing, first by water, then by land, and finally by jumping off a building. In the teaser’s final scene, Huma tells Rajkummar, “Jay, what do you think of yourself? That you are talented? It is not about the talent, it is about your good story.”
