Taapsee is in Rajkumar Hirani’s next movie

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Rajkumar Hirani’s upcoming film will be based on Immigration, in which he can be seen playing the role of an NRI who moves from Punjab to Canada. Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu is quite busy with her film projects these days. This year, along with her many solo films, she will share the screen with many big stars. It is confirmed now that Taapsee is in Rajkumar Hirani’s next movie and we’ll probably get to see a new shade of the actress.

Taapsee Pannu will be seen opposite Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan. The film is being directed by Rajkumar Hirani.

According to reports, the Munna Bhai director is planning to make a social comedy about MBBS makers Shahrukh Khan, which is produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra.

Rajkumar Hirani has directed many movies that touched on social issues like 3 idiots, PK and Lage Raho Munna Bhai so it doesn’t come as a surprise that he’s doing a movie on immigration. The movie revolves around life of Shahrukh Khan – a Punjabi who moves from Punjab to Canada for better prospects.

The movie will talk about the underlying reasons for immigration and the economic challenges and If all the points are correct, this will be the first time that Tapsee will share screen space with Shahrukh Khan.

Talking about Shahrukh Khan’s work front, the actor has not yet been seen acting in any film after the film Zero. However, his company has produced several projects during this period. After this news, Shah Rukh Khan’s fans will be excited to see their favorite actor on the silver screen.

Getting on to Taapsee’s work, the actress has recently completed shooting for the film ‘Loop Lapeta’ and has currently started shooting for Anurag Kashyap’s film ‘Do-Bara’. Taapsee will begin shooting for the biopic ‘Shabash Mittu’ being made on the Pannu cricketer Mithali Raj. The actress has several films in the pipeline including films like ‘Haseen Dilruba’ and ‘Rashmi Rocket’. It is expected that these films will be released this year.
