Rubina declared Bigg Boss winner by Google before the finale!

Bigg Boss season 14 has seen enough ups and downs with contestants going out and coming back frequently. The need for higher TRP even forced the makers to bring contestants from previous seasons in the Bigg Boss house especially Rakhi Sawant to stir up one or the other controversy.

But it seems controversies aren’t limited to Bigg Boss’ house. As fans wait with bated breath for the Bigg Boss 14 finale, it seems Google couldn’t wait any longer and decided the winner already! Yes, when you search for the ‘winner of Bigg Boss 14’ on Google, Rubina Dilaik’s name comes up!

How could this possibly happen?

Rubina has managed to stay in the spotlight constantly for her arguments with other contestants and host Salman Khan. She recently made headlines by pouring a bucket of water on Rakhi Sawant after Rakhi’s comment, “Tum tharki ho” to her husband Abhinav Shukla, angered her.

Rubina has also taken her individual stand in all issues inside the house. As per the trends, contestants like her have always managed to take home the trophy. Rubina has always been a fan favorite in the show. As the voting trends show, she has constantly been on the top with the maximum votes.

Recently, her fans trended the hashtag ‘Deserving Winner Rubina‘ which reached more than 10M tweets in less than a day. She has been constantly targeted in the house right from the beginning which has helped in creating a positive image of her in front of the audience.

Typically when there is a lot of buzz (including content generated and searches made by users) about a certain topic then Google’s algorithms assimilate all the information. Based on this information Google tries to produce the most accurate results. It seems that Google’s algorithms deduced that the winner of Bigg Boss 14 is Rubina, much before the finale due to the massive fan following of Rubina. The positive messaging and campaigns (like ‘Deserving winner Rubina’) run by her fans might have influenced Google’s algorithms, although unintentionally.

Bigg Boss 12 contestant Jasleen Matharu has also revealed that she feels Rubina will win the current season. Rubina also has the support of Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Rashami Desai and Toofani seniors Hina Khan and Gauhar Khan.

Apart from her fans, even her fellow contestants have admitted rooting for her. Contestant Naina Singh had said, “I think, Rubina can win Bigg Boss 14. I am rooting for her since day one. Even when I was inside the Bigg Boss 14 house, I used to root for her. So, I think she will win the show.” Sonali Phogat has also stated that Rubina had the qualities for becoming the winner.

Even past contestant Rashami Desai has been rooting for Rubina but no one anticipated this out of the blue prediction from Google’s algorithms.

Other contestants in the Fray in Bigg Boss 14

Apart from Rubina, only five contestants – Aly Goni, Rubina Dilaik, Nikki Tamboli, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Rakhi Sawant and Rahul Vaidya are left for the finale. The strongest among them is Rahul Vaidya. Hence, the finale is expected to witness a close competition between Rubina and Rahul.
